Hi! I’m Sienna, the founder of The Turtle Trust — and someone who has been captivated by the ocean for as long as I can remember.

My passion for marine life began at a young age, inspired by the magical world beneath the waves. I first fell in love with ocean conservation during a trip to Bali, where I had the unforgettable experience of holding a baby sea turtle. That moment — watching its tiny flippers move, its shell glistening under the sun — was absolutely mesmerising. It lit a spark in me that has never gone out.

As a child, I was also fascinated by mermaiding — gliding through the water and imagining life as a creature of the sea. It was more than play; it deepened my connection to the ocean and made me want to protect it. That early love turned into real-world action as I began learning more about marine ecosystems, the threats they face, and the small steps we can all take to make a difference.

Founding The Turtle Trust was my way of turning passion into purpose. I believe that young people can lead powerful change — and together, we can create a cleaner, kinder ocean for all life, especially sea turtles.

This is only the beginning. I’m so excited to grow this global, youth-led movement — and I’d love for you to be part of it.
