Educating for Change and Empowering Youth

The Turtle Trust is a youth-led initiative dedicated to educating communities about sea turtles and ocean conservation. Through podcasts, webinars, and our education hub, we empower young people to take action against threats like plastic pollution and nurdles, building a global movement of ocean-conscious changemakers.

Plastic Pellets - stay tuned!

Right now, no international framework defines how to safely package or transport nurdles or even recognises them as hazardous materials. This regulatory blind spot allows trillions of tiny, toxic pellets to leak into waterways each year, devastating marine ecosystems and coastal communities.

Sea turtles have survived for over 100 million years, yet today they face some of the greatest threats in history. At The Turtle Trust, we believe their future depends not only on frontline rescue, but on something deeper: education that inspires action and advocacy that sparks change.
We are a youth-led movement dedicated to teaching, empowering, and connecting people with the story of sea turtles and the oceans they call home. Through The Turtle Vault, our educational podcasts, and interactive webinars, we turn complex issues like climate change, plastic waste, and nurdle pollution into lessons that move people to care — and to act.
But education is only the first step. We also advocate for safer, more responsible transportation and handling of nurdles, the tiny plastic pellets that kill countless marine animals each year. By shining a light on this hidden issue, we hope to inspire action and better practices that will protect sea turtles at the source.
The Turtle Trust exists to show that one voice, one classroom, and one idea can ripple outward to change the world. We are not only keeping sea turtles in the spotlight — we are building an ocean-conscious generation that will carry conservation into the future.
Together, we are The Turtle Trust. Together, we are making waves.
